Mehdi S Ferdows, M.D., PhD

Dr. Ferdows received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles. He also received an MD PhD combined degree at the university of Texas Health Science Center in Microbiology and Molecular Biology. He completed his internship in General Surgery, an Internal Medicine residency and a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Texas Health Science Center as well. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and has been practicing Gastroenterology since 2001 and opened his own practice in 2004.

Dr. Ferdows clinical interests span the entire spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders and endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, capsule endoscopies, 24 hour pH and manometries and ERCPs.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, reading, skiing and hiking.
